Almost May. Almost summer.  Not quite, though.  We got the pontoon out on the water and needless to say, we brought along a few blankets. Burr! Oh well, it's gotta warm up sometime, right??

AHHHHHHH! So much to do, not enough time!  I whipped out the good ol' Nikon tonight for an obvious reason: putting off homework? Of course! I have a cagillion - [not even a word] -  projects to get done before next week, and I'm going c r a z y!  Here's a sight of my desk...

...and here's the only thing keeping me alive... (okay, so maybe there's more elements, but these are helping!)

Someday I will blog daily, who knows, maybe even with one of those fancy-schmansey blog sites....someday.... :) For now, check these out! The first is a full-time mommy to beautiful children, and a retired photographer.  The second was actually one of my leaders during a mission trip in Atlanta, GA.  The last, well, she's awesomely-inspiring.

Danny has been telling me for quite some time now, "I really think you'll like this park..." and we've just never made the trip there.  Who would have thought that this awesome park is nestled within L-town.  Haha, I feel like a fool because I had no idea all these photo-ops were so close to my home!  If you're into running, you should definitely check Pioneer Park out!

Anyway, Danny finally brought me there yesterday because it was so nice out! Before we left he said... "Got your camera?" and I responded, "I'll be fine with my little Nikon point and shoot." *DOH!* That was silly of me! Of course I wouldn't be fine with my little camera!... Needless to say, I practically forced my irritated boyfriend to drive me back to the dorm to pick up my DSLR. Whoops! (Sorry Danny!) :)

:) Okay okay, you two better love this one! I know its a real slack of a post... and the pictures are pretty cruddy... but it's all I can do this month! I'll shoot for more Nikonlove next month! :)  

ENGL 150 - best class ever.

ALRIGHT... In no way did I ever think that I would be putting my photoshop to good use within my ENGLISH class!  We are working on a project where we have to describe ourselves behind one of our many "masks."  For me, this includes but is not limited to the following: a sister, a daughter, a photographer, a mac enthusiast, a girlfriend, a cousin, an organized mess, a poor college student, a roommate, a friend, a crappy-phone-owner, a sharpie collector.... etc. (You get the picture..) Anyway, I, needless to say, chose to be "a photographer" for this project.  We each also have to have some sort of visual to go with our eight page paper.  The possibilities are endless, and if I didn't have so much homework this week I probably would have taken a little more time on this... ANYWAY....I found it acceptable to post this on my photo blog. Enjoy!

YES! FINALLY! The snow from last week is melting! :) HORRAY!

PSYCH! It's baaaaack. Here's a view from my window... There's no happy campers living on Smith 10 today! :( At least I have Modern Family and Off the Map to look forward to... :)
